Christoph demonstrates a variety of technical topics

Abstract

Christoph will perform Linux Soup. The target audience will be home users of Linux, and topics will cover a range of applications. Christoph will be bringing his computer from home, and describe how it's configured and used to do:
  • Customizing Linux for home (X11 login screen, login profiles)
  • Word Processing, Spread Sheets, Presentations (Applixware)
  • Internet access (Dial up PPP, tcp wrappers, sendmail)
  • Graphic Arts, Scanning, Drawing (SANE, GIMP)
  • Web Design (using M4 macro processor)

This meeting will hopefully be more of a town meeting, where input from the audience is encouraged.
